The team is composed of (1 Associate Professor, 1 Professor, 1 CNRS researcher, 2 shared assistant-engineers, 1 emeritus researcher, students and visitors). We study the properties of living cells and their assemblies in tissues or biofilms with biophysicists’ approaches. Our approaches are experimental and in collaboration with researchers from other disciplines or with theorists. They are based on the development of original devices.

Research topics :

  • Eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells
  • Intra and supracellular organization
  • Mechanics and dynamics
