Two separate labs are dedicated to the two cells (eukaryotes and prokaryotes) culture. We share our labs with the SOBIO biophysics team. Thought located in a physics building, the two labs offer most of the bio standard equipments required to prepare the cells and biofilms samples. Virginie Bailleux and Laetitia Poncet, of biology training, are in charge of these rooms and greatly help the teams to perform the different cultures and bio manipulations. Some equipments like the -80°C freezer are safety powered by an external diesel generator set in the event of a power blackout.
